"Is it just us, or is it getting warm in here?"

No, it’s definitely getting warmer. It’s not hype. It’s not scare-mongering. Global warming is a reality and as a responsible company Craghoppers is committed to being a carbon neutral organisation. But we all have an individual responsibility too. But it's worth it. So here's a short list of things we can ALL commit to doing. Go on tick them off.

LEAVE THE CAR IN THE GARAGE
Every mile you drive emits at least around half a kilo of CO2. So whenever possible walk, cycle, car-share or use public transport.

FIT ENERGY SAVING BULBS
Do it today. Just one energy saving bulb will save over 60 kilos of CO2 a year. And if you replace
ALL your bulbs then....well, you do the maths.

GET RECYCLING
Get on board with your local roadside collections or get your stuff to your nearest recycling amenities. By recycling half of your household rubbish you’ll save weight over 1 tonne of CO2.

COOLER WASHES
Forget those 60 - 90 degree wash cycles. Turn it down to 30 - 40 degrees and you could save 200 kilos of CO2 a year.

TURN YOUR THERMOSTAT DOWN
Just a few degrees. You’ll hardly feel the difference. But planet earth will. To the tune of nearly 1 tonne of saved CO2 a year.

TURN OFF THOSE STANDBY BUTTONS
You’ll quite simply save tonnes of unnecessary CO2 every year if you completely switch off the TV, video, DVD and computer (completely, that is - no little red standby lights) and unplug your mobile phone chargers when your phone’s not connected!
