To celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh ‘s Award, we’re taking you on a short journey through time as we share our own Duke of Edinburgh’s Award stories.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Then:
1971 – Graham Riding received the prestigious Gold DofE Award!
Graham’s daughter Lucy Riding, our Assistant Product Developer, sent us this brilliant photo of her dad who celebrated his Award back in 1971.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Now:
2016 – Ambassador Lucy Grayson is part way through her Duke of Edinburgh’s Award journey!
Craghoppers Ambassador Lucy is 16 and is currently working towards her Silver DofE Award.
Lucy loves a walk with a challenge and any outdoor activity that gets the adrenaline going! We wish you the best of luck on your adventures Lucy.
