Calling all adventurers, thrill-seekers & music-lovers. We are delighted to announce that we will be returning to the line-up for Keswick Mountain Festival in 2022.
We’re looking forward to getting out there again to meet with other lovers of the great outdoors who will be making the journey to Keswick from the 20th –22nd May. Celebrating its 15th year returning to the Lake District, Keswick Mountain Festival has also returned to its original May slot after pandemic disruptions in 2020 & 2021.
Neighbouring the Lakeland Fells and Derwent Water, attendees will be able to enjoy a host of outdoor activities including sports like swimming, hiking and running. There will also be live music, great food and a wide range of stalls to attend and engage with.
Our Craghoppers Tent Talks offer an excellent opportunity to connect with likeminded adventurers. Kicking off with a talk from Alan Hinkes; the first Briton to climb all fourteen 8000m peaks. Craghoppers Tent Talks will also feature talks with Misba Kahn of the Women’s Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition and Jack Flekney, a former Royal Marine Commando, and World Record Holder who is embarking on a 2000km journey across the heart of Africa. Be sure to check out who else is on the line up here: While Craghoppers Theatre by the Lake allows an opportunity to lose yourself by the lake and immerse in a miryad of inspiring documentaries and short films; celebrating the beauty and challenges that the outdoors bring us.
Finally, we’ll be hosting the ultimate intro into bushcraft work shops. At Craghoppers Bushcraft Corner you can learn all about how our ancestors have created fire through the ages with our ‘A Journey of Fire’ talk. You can then put your skills to the test with an ‘Introduction to Firelighting’ and you can even join us for Knife Safety & Carving (age restrictions will apply). While throughout the day, you can enjoy some Leather Craft and if you’re brave enough, the Bug Eating Challenge!
