The Outdoors: The Greatest Classroom On Earth

There’s a whole world of fantastic adventures that lie beyond the threshold of your front door and with it comes the freedom to see the world in a whole new way. After all, seeing the world we live in a whole new way is often the best part of being a child!

The outdoors can teach essential skills and encourage growth in teamwork, self-esteem, imagination and a desire to protect the planet that they will grow up in. A perspective that could never be learned sat behind a desk.

The outdoors can teach adults too! Parents say that their kids in the outdoors have taught them to connect with nature and really live in the moment which has helped them find a slice of true happiness in the outdoors.

Meet the children and families behind our newest collection, kitted out in the latest Craghoppers gear for their favourite adventures across the UK!

Huge fans of the outdoors, the Sons family love to explore and adventure during their free time. Jeff Roxsanne and their four sons activities range from weekend walks to exploring zoos, where the kids can have a fun day out whilst learning about nature and the environment! Pictured in our Bellamy Jacket and Brady Hybrid Jacket, you can catch the Sons family adventures via their Instagram.

Seen here enjoying the blues skies on the beach are Natalie Ray and her two daughters. Pictured in our Gabriel Half Zip Fleece and Linden Half Zip Fleece, the Ray family are at their happiest when they are outdoors exploring with their dog! No one appreciates the beauty that the UK nature has to offer more than Jo and her daughter! Avid walkers, they spend a lot of their time exploring the Peak District and admiring the splendid views. Pictured in our Brady Hybrid Jacket, Jo’s daughter normally accompanies her mother on their walks.
