My name is Adam Short, I’m a long distance walker and adventurer and I set off on my UK Coastal Trek 6600 miles and 506 days ago! I arrived at the Itchen Bridge in Southampton, on Sunday 26th July, thus completing my walk.
The journey began in March 2014, the aim being to walk anti-clockwise around the UK, staying as close to the coastline as physically possible, use my inflatable pack raft to navigate estuaries and rivers, and also fundraise for RNLI en route.
Both in the harsh winters and the warmer summer months, I had the support of Craghoppers by way of outdoor and waterproof gear. The clothes have stood the test of time throughout. I wore them every day and they survived the rough terrain, salt air and wild vegetation that I often had to pass through, while providing warmth and comfort and dryness.
