Conservation Photojournalist and Filmmaker
Ellie is a conservation photojournalist and filmmaker. With a degree in Natural History, Photography and Film, her work explores the relationships between humans and nature, from human-wildlife conflict, to the incredible people dedicating their lives to conservation.
Her drive to tell impact-led stories resulted in the creation of her multi-award-winning, one woman-crew short documentary The Pangolin Man. The film tells the story of local Ugandan Moses Arineitwe, and his fight to change the lives of not only endangered pangolins, but of the very people hunting them. The film has been screened globally and generated ongoing donations for Moses work.
Ellie will be returning to Uganda to not only document how the film has impacted the communities, but to use the film as a tool for grassroots education through local screenings
