4 adventurers we took to two remote islands in Cape Verde. Sao Vincente and Santo Antao offered an array of amazing landscapes and varied terrain - ideal for the vast range of kit we put through its paces.
Opting to steer clear from the tourist hotspots, we were in search of adventure.
We tried the local delicacies.
We spoke to the local craftsmen.
We immersed ourselves in the local culture.
We met the locals and saw the islands through their eyes.
We ventured far and wide through trails in the Pinewood forest, stopping to take in the amazing landscapes Cape Verde has to offer.
We explored the wild plantations, staying cool and comfortable out on the trail.
We were guided by adventure, wanting to discover the new.
During our long days we witnessed epic sunrises and sunsets.
Our clothing has the technology to manage moisture which means we stayed comfortable all day long.

Arriving on Sao Vincente Island, we headed straight to our eco-hotel, organised by sustainable travel company, Travell with Purpose.
The 13 bedroom hotel was sympathetic to the hilly landscape, with a breathtaking gridded, wooden and brilliant white lime putty façade, cladding the building.
Local materials are scarce, so they used whatever sustainable materials they could get their hands on. Almost everything at the hotel was handmade, including the furniture.
He was passionate about football and told us how he funded and coached the local children’s football team. Football is one of the most popular sports in Cape Verde.
His passion and energy shone through.
The hotel owner, who was originally from Sardinia, welcomed us with a shot of the local rum!
The next day we hopped on the ferry to Santo Antao island where stay at the Boca d’Coruya - an incredible lodge nestled in the mountains.
The perfect place to continue our adventure.
