My Craghoppers, My Kiwis: David Evans

Our legacy is Kiwi, it began in the 1950s, in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, the ambitious and intrepid Clarke Brothers came up with one of the first iconic outdoors products ever developed - the “Craghoppers.” A breech, lovingly known as “breeks”, manufactured from the finest Derby tweed and worn for every outdoor pursuit of the era, from walking the hills to climbing the crags and even skiing back down. Every year since, we have continued to hone and craft our designs and technology to create the perfect piece of legwear for you. From the cult status of our Kiwi Classic to the trusted performance of our Kiwi Pro, trousers are in our DNA.

We know that to our community, they are way more than a pair of walking trousers. In our new series; My Craghoppers, My Kiwis, we discuss the great outdoors with our community, exploring our legwear legacy and discovering just what makes these trousers so iconic.

Meet David Evans

David is the creator of Grey Fox, a blog which features menswear style, fashion and lifestyle content. Its main target audience, the man aged forty and over, represents an often-forgotten but large and affluent demographic, but in practice the blog is read by men and women of all ages.

David is somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to outdoor style and has owned a pair of original Craghoppers breeches for a number of years.

Discover his views and thoughts of our legacy legwear and the great outdoors with the first episode of My Craghoppers, My Kiwis.
