Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is a conservation and education charity, which is dedicated to preventing extinction around the world. Their environmental programme, Act For Wildlife, is a vast global programme which spans across 6 continents/ spanning more than 30 countries. Their dedicated team work in a range of landscapes to survey threats to wildlife and create plans to protect habitats for the future.
Apart from being an award-winning zoo, the science team excel with their ground-breaking research into vaccinations. They investigate causes and treatments for life-threatening diseases, which aims to provide a cure for illness which can pose irreversible problems for endangered wildlife.
Craghoppers recently joined the zoo’s conservation team in Madagascar to roll up their sleeves and help with work in-field to protect the lemurs. A representative spent 10 days living in the rainforest to support environmental projects and engage with local rural communities.
