We have been making good progress in this area and by AW20, 70% of Craghoppers products will be made using recyclable materials, compared to 12% in AW19. We have also increased the amount of recycled materials within each individual product, we use yarns which have been sourced from suppliers that are certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Guaranteed for life
Making product to last is the key ingredient to sustainability. We are so proud of the quality of our clothing that we offer a Guarantee for Life.
We have an agreement with a repair service provider which is free of charge for our consumers. This extends the life of all our products.
We ensure that we have zero landfill even for damaged stock. We donate stock to Newlife, the Charity for disabled children. Profits from the sale of this stock help to provide essential equipment for disabled children, medical research into birth defects and help fund campaigns at local and national government level.

No to down
We have taken a stand against the use of Down in all our products and now only offer man-made fillings in all our insulated products. Our man-made insulation is hypo-allergenic, dries faster than it’s Down counterpart and offers as much warmth as Down.
We are also proud members of the Higg Index to practically measure all our production facilities in our supply chain to assess their environmental sustainability. This benchmarking tool helps us raise the bar on our sustainability efforts and gives us practical targets everywhere.
We joined this group to find a solution to Microfibre leakage into our oceans. We are working with the research programme to find better fibres, yarns and fabrics for our collections.
