European Tree of the Year 2015

We have been supporting Tree Hunter, Rob McBride, for a number of years and his latest trip has seen him travel across Europe.

He has been working with the European Tree of the Year 2015 (ETOTY15) contest, which involved visiting all 14 entrants across the continent, seeing the trees and promoting the competition.

“I took only a small laptop size rucksack therefore I needed kit that was both practical, warm, compact and efficient.

I needed versatility and the warmth of a double layer so I chose NosiLife Stretch Convertible Trousers. They had the side pocket for my large phone and zipped off when needed.

The Mayman II Parka Jacket was waterproof and WARM! It was so cold, especially in Estonia and Bulgaria, and wearing the CH Parka meant I never had to worry about getting chilled at any stage of my trip.”

Rob will be representing the Welsh and English Trees at the awards night in Brussels, Belgium on the 22nd April 2015.
